Oscar

Well this was a last-minute fostering situation. Oscar's current foster mom went on vacation and Oscar was sent to the kennels, which would be fine for a lot of dogs but this poor guy has some bad knees and the kennel was a little too much for him. I got a frantic call from The Deb asking if we could take him in just for a bit. Obviously overly-excitedly said yes.

So here we are with Oscar. Oscar is about five years old with the knees of a 10 year old. He will need both back knees operated on in the near future. Regardless, this doesn't stop him from enjoying his surroundings. This guy, like all of the pits I've come into contact with, has endless love to give. He just wants to be next to someone. If he has that he will lay down at your feet and take a nap. If he doesn't have someone next to him or if he's separated by a door, he may or may not act like a big baby, not matching his old man body. To put it plainly, he's a huge baby! Despite his tantrums, he's only put a couple scratches on the office door (his bedroom).

I doubt Oscar knows about the amount of people that have teamed up to root for him but it's quite impressive. There are some amazing women behind him, making sure he gets the absolute best because he simply deserves it. As do all of these dogs.
